Carnasserie Castle

After the unease the hotel,
gashes in the woodchip,
ceiling mildew and mouldy walls,
it was a much needed relief to get out into Kilmartin Glen.

Avoiding midges, this was the day’s feat, wandering into the medieval structure that intrigued from the kitchen to tower.
Clearly having had some renovation there was a hankering for hitting rewind, sheltering in this ruin instead.
