When its sprigs were trained it turned into a member of society
That could potentially offend (for example, by growing over the fence)
Should it be punishable to cut back healthy leaves and branches?

It is the canopy over a friendly barbecue
It’s the CO2 capture machine inhaling the breath of this most primal food preparation
Some people say CO2 is no problem for global warming
Because CO2 makes the trees grow (it’s like ice cream or spaghetti for them)
So really all that will happen is that the trees will take over
(Tell that to the Amazon and the Siberian primeval forests and to the trees in California and Alaska and Samos and Portugal and Australia and Italy — just to name a few)
